Speakeasy: An establishment born in the 1920’s as a product of the failed American prohibition experiment. Clandestine in design and spirit, the Speakeasy offered a subdued and relaxing, yet exciting destination where music, light food, and spirits allowed those “in-the-know” a place to escape an overly restrictive government and lifestyle.

Prohibition passed, but not the desire to escape the pace of the day. The big city speakeasies of days gone by have continued to thrive as a relaxing reminder of the power of the people and the strength of the human spirit.

Today, In Honeoye Falls, we pay tribute to the institution of the Speakeasy. Located back in the middle of a farmers field in the village, the Red Roofed barn known as Custom BrewCrafters harbors its own quaint little speakeasy on Saturday Evenings. Live music, great light food, freshly crafted beer and select wines. The Saturday Evening Speakeasy at The Pint and Goblet Tavern is a great opportunity to leave today behind while you enter a subdued, relaxing, yet exciting world of yesteryear.
