The Pint & Goblet Tavern

The Pint & Goblet Tavern idea happened upon us one afternoon as we were engaged in some great conversation with our customers.  We realized that people were spending a long time at our tasting room bar.  They would come to sample the beer, catch up with their friends, and celebrate the upcoming weekend.  For some of our most dedicated customers this meant standing at the bar for hours!  We figured, why not offer an area where our customers could get together for a happy hour.  Rather than small samples let them purchase beer by the glass, sit down, relax, and have that same great conversation.

So we opened The Pint & Goblet Tavern with a very simple plan.  Great beer, simple food and a relaxed atmosphere. We started with just one dish that changed every week.  After featuring our Brewer’s Ploughman’s Platter, for which we received rave reviews, we added it as a standard fare on our menu. The Ploughman’s Platter features 3 cheeses, 3 sausages, bread, fruit, and crackers.  Nachos and Quesadillas were requested and added to the menu, and we settled into making a different soup each week as the special.  To maintain the menu as simple, we added a “Make Your Own Sandwich” option offering different breads, meats (Ham, Turkey, & Roast Beef), different condiments and the standard additions.  We added a salad, and there you have it! Soup and sandwich, soup and salad, munchies, tubular heaven, enjoyment!

We also feature select wines from area vineyards for those who might want something a bit different from beer.

Next time you visit plan to spend a little time with us.  Bring some friends and enjoy a late afternoon discussing the plans for the weekend or the past week at work.  We can’t wait to see you!
